Macca aka Beathoven wywodzi się z b-boyowego crew INFINITE FORCE działającego we wczesnych latach 80. Jest Dj-em od 1986 roku, a w 1990 wydaje swoją pierwsza płytę i od tamtego czasu zajmuje się produkcją.
Supportował takie składy jak The Pharcyde, Blackalicious, Schooly D & DJ Cash Money, obecnie podróżuje jako dj z funkowym bandem Quantic Soul Orchestra (tru thoughts rec.)
Od 2000 roku prowadzi w BRIGHTON (Wlk. Brytania) swoją własna hiphopowo/funkową wytwórnie PUMA STRUT.

Wyjechał na 6 miesięcy do USA gdzie doskonalił techniki produkcji muzyki.

Założył grupę 'THE KINSMAN' z gościnnym udziałem DJ OTHELLO obecnie znany jako DJ DOLLO z CHAMPIONS OF NATURE (WORDPLAY REC).

Występował w RITCHIE RICH's hip hop show w radiu KISS FM i zajął drugą pozycje w
PROFILE RECORDS, RUN DMC mix competition.

Macca aka Beathoven went from B-boying as a member of the INFINITE FORCE Breakin crew in the early 80's to DJ'ing in 1986 at local parties on the south coast of England, in 1990 he produced his first record and has been producing and DJ'ing ever since.
He has also supported such luminaries as The Pharcyde, Blackalicious, Schooly D & DJ Cash Money.
In 2000 he started recording for UK 7" label PUMA STRUT, & released two of there fastest selling 45's. He also executive produced their latest LP "FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES" as well as contributed various tracks, remixes & bonus beats to the project.

One of the original DJs for the legendary south coast based "KNOWLEDGE OF SELF" Hip Hop sound system also instigated their regular funk & Disco breaks nights.

"SEASIDE CAPERS" EP along side long-time friend and collaborator DJ MEX (BLACKGRASS/CATSKILLS), this track featured on compilations by BOMB RECORDS, USA and MZEE RECORDS, Germany.

Went to the USA for six months to learn production techniques.

Formed a group called "THE KINSMAN" with fellow DJ OTHELLO, now known as DJ DOLLO from CHAMPIONS OF NATURE (WORDPLAY).

Performed DJ mixes for RITCHIE RICH's hip hop show on KISS FM and came second in PROFILE RECORDS, RUN DMC mix competition.

Produced the "STRUGGLE CONTINUES" 12" for underground hip hop group
SEVERE CARNEGE.

Got through to the UK finals of the DMC mixing championship.
